Doug has been tinkering with alternate energy for decades. He has duplicated just about everyone's alternate energy device looking for that secret sauce to achieve free energy. I started this game around 25 years ago and Doug was an authority then. While Doug's knowledge of energy properties is vast, he seems to dislike scientific process. In my opinion, he often abandons an experiment just when it gets interesting. Not sure if this is a preservation mechanism, or he just gets bored. One must incrementally follow the successes to achieve something useful. This sometimes means branching from the original expected result.
