Yes radium was use by radio people on antennas and in cold cathode radio tubes they would but three is series and amplify for power out put.then there's Paul browns radioactive battery ran for thee days creating 50,000watts of power then the vacuum was broken by the radon created by the radium deteriorating. I looked into it and radon breaks down after three days into a long line of sister elements with very short lives but it hits Lead 25 which is a prolific beta emitter.with a I think a 25year half life if I'm remembering right .with a beta emitter you can generate a lot of clean energy. Just use it in a cycling coil the polarity causes it to be usable electric. Might need a vacuum I don't know . I love old books so much better than the new .
