Yeah been running my Bedini like this for a while. Charge big cap at input and dump the cap into the coil and collect that instead. I called it supercharged Bedini.

He's been working on variants of this system for years. His latest incarnation dumps to a massive choke. Apparently he's getting massive output into a bank of lto cells.
