Simple RF Mixer - JoeLag - 11-16-2024

Might be good for some projects folks are working on.

So, I ordered a signal generator with sma plugs and a 100 Watt RF Amplifier. Now I can produce a 12v 100w 10mhz rf signal. I have several 1500v 1000pf ceramic capacitors, which I would put in parralel at the rf source.
As a high voltage dc source i would use a zvs on a flyback, feeding its dc to a 1000v 1000uf capacitor.
Would this be appropriate to your setup?

I do not understand the circuit you posted here, do we need to switch the rf or the high-v dc signal?

What is meant with LO input? or is this just a amplifier schematic?

Stable method of getting IF output. It's needed for "Some" RF projects mostly radio but it may be applicable to some who experiment with radio like circuits.
