ebay Ethics - JoeLag - 05-23-2023 It does raise ethical concerns that eBay is withdrawing funds from a linked bank account without providing prior notice or obtaining explicit consent first. From an ethical standpoint, transparency, fairness, and respect for users' rights are important principles that companies should uphold. While companies like eBay have the ability to define their terms of service and set policies within legal boundaries, it is essential for them to consider the ethical implications of their practices. Actions that may negatively impact users' financial well-being or infringe upon their rights without proper notification or consent can erode trust and raise ethical concerns. Some people have a 50 dollar fee if the balance is not available at random for eBay during withdrawal (shipping label adjustments etc..) After eBay has sent and released initial funds alter deductions into account few days prior. Surprise! there was an error in automatic calculations and that's on the user responsibility without notice having it eBay's way. Convenient! |
