Thank you Tom for not taking my post about magnet motors as criticism of your success. I am watching with eyes wide open, ready to learn something new.
Very interesting Tom. You have a sort of inside out reluctance motor with a twist. With the inclusion of a magnet in the core, your coil cores would reach magnetic saturation quickly when in attraction mode. I'm not sure how the copper separation plate in the core affects the saturation. Normally, saturation is undesired as it creates unwanted current draw and heat in a motor. This is why you see so much silicone steel in an electric motor. However, those copper plates/washers you use as separators in your core are diamagnetic. This means when voltage is applied to the coil, the coil then induces a counter magnetic field in the copper plates through eddy currents. VERY interesting. It would be good to know if they are solid copper or copper plated steel. If magnetic, then copper plated. Maybe you have a spare one lying around that you could test with a magnet.

Yeah it is, But this is mostly mechanical magnetics, I will admit its out of my reach. No machine shop, No contacts that have access to this stuff. It would get very complicated for me to start experimenting with mostly mechanical systems, How ever those are my limitations, And others who can build all this stuff should go for it to the max. 

Heck I even been made fun of for trying to go with solid state only methods being told "that's never going to work" oh well. At least it's a domain I can experiment and learn with!

If I had Bedini's "Workshop" I have so much time...... I'd try everything twice lol.
